About Burkes Plumbing & Backflow Services
A Family Business Built on Legacy
Lucas' journey into plumbing began when he was just nine years old, going to work with his dad, Larry, and learning the trade alongside him.
Those early days became the foundation for a career that would eventually become much more than a job. Lucas' dad often dreamed of starting a plumbing business of his own, but never had the opportunity to make that dream a reality. Lucas carried that dream with him as he grew older, and eventually decided it was time to make it his own.
Today, Lucas is the only Master Plumber in the family, and earning that license meant more to him than simply reaching a professional goal. It was a way to honor his dad, continue what he had started, and carry a piece of his legacy forward.
That same sense of legacy is something Lucas now gets to share with his own family. His son, Luke, is growing up watching his dad work, learning from him, and seeing firsthand what it means to take pride in a trade and in the work you do.
We don't know what the future will hold for Luke, and we're not here to choose his path for him. But there's something pretty special about watching one generation teach the next.
Larry taught Lucas. Lucas is teaching Luke.
